"I just spoke to Terry and he is still in the hospital. He said they found a small problem with his heart, but nothing meds cannot fix. His levels are a little off, but he hopes to be home by the weekend." |

Tough times for two of Berkley's (#795) finest:
State Worthy Treasurer Adrian Ames, Sr. is on dialysis and in need of a kidney transplant. He is also having vision problems.
PSWP and current State Grandfather Jack Baker is home bound. He tested positive for tuberculosis. Doctors have discovered polyps in his esophagus and colon. He is still undergoing testing.
Please keep Adrian, Jack and their families in your prayers. |

Past State Worthy President, Terry Chilcott (#3204) is presently in Bayside Hospital.
During the Fraternal Day ceremonies, he had a "sinking" episode. VA Beach EMS was called and he was teken to the hospital. It has been determined he had a stroke. He will undergo more testing today.
More info will be posted when it becomes available. |

Elsie is back home from the hospital. She continues to do well and be monitored while she awaits a new heart. |

GWP-Elect Phil Tice is in good spirits and feeling well after his recent surgery. He will begin chemotherapy soon.

On Saturday, October 3, 2009, the Fraternal Order of Eagles presented their first $5 million installment to the University of Iowa for the Diabetes Research Center. The presentation took place in a pre-game ceremony at the Hawkeyes football game with Arkansas State University.
